birthday

today is my 17th birthday,

and you know what that means?

well, it actually doesn't mean anything except that i am one year older..

yet again :)

i'm not to sure of what i'm doing for my birthday except hanging out with my boyfriend and family. my boyfriend, devin, is taking me out for lunch and a movie, maybe a few other surprises along the way, but who knows!

ANYWAY

i tried out for the softball team at my school and so far, i'm not on the team even though i have a lot to offer. i will go to the practice on monday morning, from 6-8 am, after that i should find out if i made the team. i really hope i make varsity because, for one..theres no JV team because of the number of girls trying out, and two..i've been playing since i was 5, so i kinda want this. plus i'm trying to do things for college, and this would help.

anywho, that's it for now.

i found this the other day, my grandpa that passed away gave this to me when i was little. i played in it so much! i miss them an awful lot.

do you still have things from when you were a baby? who gave them to you, what do you plan on doing with those items one day?

i want to give all my things i had when i was little, to my babies!!!

2011 snow storm

it snowed a ton january 26th, 2011

the snow count this time was about 14 inches : ) not as much as last years, but we were getting somewhere. in our county, we missed 3 days of school and only had a 1 day week!

what a great way to end exams.

my friend renay asked me to go sledding with her and we met up with some other girls and made a HUGE ramp and sled off it. i completely screwed up the jump and heard my arm crack. not a good thing.

and renay thinks that she got a concussion - it was a pretty great day!

(plans for tomorrow's snow day: building a snowman and sledding on a bigger hill)
